This tracker is the worksheet version of the How to Write Enemies to Lovers That Actually Works guide on Writeo's blog. Fill it in before chapter one using the blog as your reference. Every section maps directly to a step in the guide.

The arc has two layers working together. The 4 act map (Section 3) is your plot skeleton. The three emotional stages (Section 5) are the emotional heartbeat inside those acts. You need both.

Here is a quick overview before you start:

The 4 Acts

• Act 1 is where you establish the enmity and make it feel justified from both sides
• Act 2 is where they get forced together and something quietly starts to crack
• Act 3 is the turning point where feelings can no longer be denied
• Act 4 is the choice where they pick each other despite everything

The 3 Emotional Stages (inside Acts 2 and 3)

• The Softening is the first crack, so small the character almost ignores it
• The Contradiction is where evidence accumulates and the original judgment starts to break down
• The Point of No Return is the moment after which feelings can be denied but not erased

Fill in the sections below before you write. Come back to it whenever you need to check whether a scene has earned its place. The Micro-Moments Log in Section 9 is the most important part. Update it as you write, not in revision.
